What we watch for in San Antonio and the surrounding area.
San Antonio is where the Hill Country meets South Texas, and the insurance market reflects it. The 2016 hail storm was one of the costliest in Texas history and reshaped how carriers write roofs here. Comal and Guadalupe rivers flood. New Braunfels, Schertz, Cibolo and Boerne are adding homes by the thousands. And with Joint Base San Antonio, a large share of families move on military orders. We work with all of it.
Hail and roofs, north side especially
After the 2016 storms carriers in the 78258, 78259 and 78260 ZIP codes and across the north side tightened roof rules. We compare roof age limits, replacement-cost versus actual-cash-value roof settlements and impact-resistant shingle discounts across every carrier we quote.
Military families and PCS moves
If you are at Lackland, Randolph or Fort Sam Houston, we will compare our carriers against your current coverage, help with deployment and storage questions on autos, and line up a policy for your next home before you close. Everything is handled remotely.
Rivers, creeks and flash floods
The Guadalupe, Comal, Blanco and Salado Creek all flood quickly. Homeowners policies exclude flood, so we quote NFIP and private flood coverage for New Braunfels, Seguin, Boerne and low-lying parts of the city, including homes outside mapped high-risk zones.
Growth on Loop 1604 and I-35
New subdivisions from Alamo Ranch to Cibolo mean new homes that need accurate replacement cost, new drivers on crowded highways, and rental property investors who need landlord coverage. We handle each of those with carriers that actually want the business.

Straight answers.
We are moving to San Antonio on orders. Can you set everything up before we arrive?
Yes. Send us the address and the closing or lease date, plus your current auto declarations page. We will have home or renters and auto quotes ready, and we can bind by e-signature before you cross the state line.
How do you handle a hail claim on a roof?
You call us first. We tell you what your policy pays (replacement cost or actual cash value), what your wind/hail deductible is in dollars, and whether the claim is worth filing. Then we help you through the carrier's process.
Do you write short-term rentals or investment property?
We write landlord policies for long-term rentals across the area. Short-term rentals need specific coverage; call the office and we will tell you what our carriers can do.
Is New Braunfels or Boerne treated differently than San Antonio?
Yes. Comal and Kendall counties have different flood exposure, different hail history and different carrier appetites than Bexar. That is why we quote by exact address rather than by metro.
Find out what you should be paying.
Two minutes to start. We compare, we call, you decide. No cost and no obligation, ever.
