Panhandle and South Plains insurance, shopped statewide.
Amarillo and Lubbock see some of the most hail and wind in the country, wildfire on the plains, and winter storms that freeze pipes. Fewer carriers compete up here, which makes an independent agency that quotes 25+ of them worth a phone call. We handle everything by phone, email and e-signature.

What we watch for in the Panhandle and South Plains.
Between the Smokehouse Creek fire, spring hail seasons and the wind that never really stops, the Panhandle is a market where the same house can be an easy write for one carrier and a decline for another. We compare the carriers we represent for your exact address in Potter, Randall, Lubbock or any of the surrounding counties and call you with what fits.
Hail and wind, year after year
Amarillo and Lubbock sit in one of the most hail-prone regions in the country. We compare wind/hail deductibles in real dollars, roof-age rules, actual-cash-value versus replacement-cost roof settlements and impact-resistant shingle discounts across every carrier we quote.
Wildfire on the plains
The 2024 Smokehouse Creek fire was the largest in Texas history and changed how carriers look at rural addresses in the northern Panhandle. We know which carriers still write outside city limits and what brush clearance and roofing details help.
Winter storms and frozen pipes
Sudden water damage from a burst pipe is usually covered, but the details on unoccupied homes, vacation homes and heating requirements vary. We explain them before a February storm, not after.
Long highway miles, deer and livestock
Comprehensive coverage handles animal collisions, which are common on I-27, US-87 and the farm roads. We quote auto with the right comprehensive deductible, uninsured motorist and rental coverage, and landlord and renters coverage for the Texas Tech and WT rental markets.

Straight answers.
Can you insure a home outside city limits?
Usually. Rural and acreage homes need a carrier that writes them and accurate details on outbuildings, water supply and distance to a fire station. We have carriers that are comfortable with it and will tell you quickly which ones.
Do you write coverage for businesses that serve the ag economy?
We write commercial general liability, property, business auto and workers' compensation for small and mid-size businesses. Call the office with what you do and we will tell you what our carriers can offer.
Is my roof too old to insure?
Not necessarily. Roof-age limits vary by carrier, and several of ours write roofs in the 10 to 20 year range with an actual-cash-value settlement. A recent roof with Class 4 shingles opens up the most options and the best pricing.
How does a claim work if you are 500 miles away?
The same way it works in Cypress. You call us, we tell you what your policy covers and what your deductible is, and we help you through the carrier's process. Adjusters are dispatched locally by the carrier.
